Looking Back At Yesteryear
It was a much simpler time ...

Growing up in the 80s and 90s was a much simpler time. Kids went out to play with nothing but a bit of chalk. Parents worked 'normal hours' unless you were in the emergency services. Sunday was family day ...
The 80s seemed like a much simpler time when we weren't afraid to let out kids go out unsupervised and play all day!
The world as we know it is a different place to what it was 30 years ago (do I sound like my dad?) I spent my childhood with my Nan, whilst my parents worked. Happy days playing in the garden with my tea set whilst my nan sat and did her crossword puzzle. I used to go home when my parents were back from work as we only lived five minutes from each other.
"Those were the days when people weren't afraid to let their kids out!"
It's different now; grandparents don't live five minutes round the corner. Children seem to be timetabled into every possible after school activity you can think of and both parents seem to work endless hours, leaving little time for anything else.
Families today are a million miles away from where they were when I was growing up. Parents are working gruelling long hours, taking children out and about and looking after ageing parents who thanks to modern medicine are living longer.
But where does that leave 'me' time? In this modern society we are expected to be superhuman. To be able to work 60+ hours a week, bring up our children to make 'super nanny' proud, run a house military style and cook like Delia. Oh! And look as good as a celebrity at all times! Not gonna happen!
After a full day at work, do I feel like cooking the dinner, doing the laundry, loading the dishwasher, helping children with homework, tidying, cleaning, shopping and the never ending tasks that take so much longer when distracted by children? No! No I don't; which is why the Extra Help service is so invaluable.
The 'sandwich generation' are what we call those in the middle trying to do it all. But it isn't humanly possible to do it all! You can't be everything and do it well; delegation is the answer.
"That's where we come in. We can do all those things that you just don't get the time to do!"
Everything from changing the beds, cleaning the bathrooms, running the vacuum cleaner round, shopping, ironing; whatever you need. We can help Granny too and make sure everything is done there too, as well as providing some company during the week when perhaps you just don't have time to go.
Working with Extra Help leaves you free to visit properly at the weekend and not spend your time doing all Granny's chores too!
It's so important to value your time; once it's gone you can't get it back. You can't put a price on your valuable family memories, that why we are so affordable. We want to help people cherish their time together without charging the earth.
"At Extra Help, we like to be the best which is why in Milton Keynes we are the only Trading Standards approved domestic company!"

Until next time ...
EXTRA HELP MILTON KEYNES, BUCKINGHAM & TOWCESTER
I have been working with Extra Help from the very beginning, firstly as a home helper working with clients in their own home, then as a client co coordinator, speaking to clients to find out what their needs are. When the opportunity arose I bought the Buckingham franchise and now own two franchises Buckingham and Milton Keynes. I really do know this business inside out and with having a family and a business to run I couldn't be without the service myself.
