So here we are on the 21st December which is probably the last working day before Christmas for some. Others will be working right through the holidays and Christmas Day too. We have talked about the xmas stress in previous blog posts but now is the time to bring the Christmas spirit out ...

Do you have a party or family get together over the holiday period? Hopefully you will enjoy some form of celebrations. Extra Help are having celebrations too. This is our 3rd Christmas of trading and our business is growing rapidly. We now operate in 9 areas in the UK and are receiving new franchise enquiries daily. It's all very exciting as the quicker we can grow the more brand recognition we receive which means that before long, the dream of becoming a household name will be a reality. Extra Help is about listening, understanding, adapting, and implementing all elements of help.
We initially set up to meet the demands of our elderly population and enable them to live at home and be independent for much longer. Our service is now available to everyone regardless of age. Extra Help has adapted to client demand because our franchisees listen and act on their clients requests which makes Extra Help a bespoke business adapted as the customer requires.
Our services include:
Extra Help for the Elderly - Services for elderly people who are living independently and require assistance to help them manage their day-to-day routines. Includes meal preparation, walking the dog, shopping, DIY jobs, gardening and transportation to appointments.
Extra Help for Everyone - Taking care of those essential, time-consuming chores for busy, working people; freeing up their spare time to spend relaxing and re-energising. Providing regular or ad-hoc services so clients can call upon us to help out at particularly busy or stressful times.
Mothers Help - Specifically geared towards the needs of busy or working parents. Assisting with a variety of tasks such as helping out at birthday parties, taking children to activities, meal preparation and tidying rooms and play areas.
Domestic Cleaning - Providing clients with friendly, flexible and fully insured ad-hoc or regular cleaning services.

Sarah co-founded Extra Help in 2010, the same year that she became Director of the OakTree Networking company - and she hasn't looked back! Both companies are completely different, however each interacts with the community on a number of levels. Prior to starting Extra Help, Sarah owned her own domestic cleaning franchise which she successfully grew, featuring in the local and national press on many occasions. Working for the NHS at the start of her career gained Sarah invaluable experience in caring within the community - working with the elderly and terminally ill.
