The temperature has dropped, the leaves are falling and the nights are drawing in - Winter is here! The shops look beautiful with twinkling lights and festive songs are playing everywhere you go. It sounds and looks wonderful, but in reality for many, panic has begun ...
we all want the perfect christmas and sometimes we need a little extra help
It's a busy time of year for most of us, with Christmas around the corner and chores increasing due to festive activities. If you are a middle generation and have children of your own - and possibly grandchildren - together with ageing parents, this time of year can be very manic making sure everyone has their essential needs met.
We can help relieve that pressure in many ways. Our older generation really needs looking after in the winter months. We can assist with cooking, shopping, cleaning, errands and many more things to relieve the pressure that you feel.
Cooking is a main service this time of year. Most people love eating out but it's not always possible and having dinner cooked for you is great, even if it's a hearty stew that is prepared and in a slow cooker all day ready for when you want it. No preparation, no mess, no washing up, just ready for you to serve. We can also shop for your ingredients. Our services are wide and varied, just as our clients needs are. You don't have to sign up to a long contract so you can have the service just when you need it the most.
Christmas shopping is great when you have help and don't need to stress yourself about finding the perfect gift for someone, then find the shops are sold out by the time you get there. Let us do it for you! We'll even wrap your gifts so they are out of sight immediately - especially with little ones exploring every nook and cranny!
What about the decorations? Can we help put them all up for you? What about collecting children from school so you can continue to work for that extra hour? We can cook for them too, watch over homework so your children's needs are met. If you're wishing you had more than one pair of hands then you need Extra Help.
And finally, what about having a deep clean before you get the house ready for Christmas? No embarrassing dusty corners when friends and family visit and fresh baked food that apparently you cooked yourself in your busy working day!
There are so many ways we can help you and that help is only one phone call away! Why not call us on +44 (0) 845 618 2904, or click here to ping over an email and let us become part of your winter celebrations.
Until next time ...
Sarah co-founded Extra Help in 2010, the same year that she became Director of the OakTree Networking company - and she hasn't looked back! Both companies are completely different, however each interacts with the community on a number of levels. Prior to starting Extra Help, Sarah owned her own domestic cleaning franchise which she successfully grew, featuring in the local and national press on many occasions. Working for the NHS at the start of her career gained Sarah invaluable experience in caring within the community - working with the elderly and terminally ill.
